So I just finished up the discs of season six and wow!
So considering how much you can get emotionally hooked into the characters, it was a hard road watching Willow go postal and turn on her friends after Tara was killed. And I have to say that being skinned before you're destroyed must be one of the nastiest ways to go ever!
I did think Giles showing up when he did was kind of dorky and/or forced, but seeing Spike gearing up to go rampaging has me totally intrigued with what the next episodes are going to unleash!
And I'm glad they got rid of the geeks.
That was some great stuff! And I think watching "Once More With Feeling" during dinner is definitely in order.

Fri, August 3, 2007 - 10:30 AMsee, for me, when i watched it that first time and giles showed up.... my vcr took a shit and died. !!!
luckily, someone had taped it and i was able to catch the second half (they did both parts of the finale in the same night, thank god).
so for me, giles showing up will always be associated with a stopping heart. :D

Ooooo, it gets really good in Season 7. And don't forget - Season 8 in print!
Giles' return may seem forced, but it is pretty important to the continuation of the story viz. Giles and Willow. You'll see.
